Windows loads into a blank screen after the "Starting Windows" screen with a mouse cursor that can be moved around. No key combinations or clicks result in anything happening. Only affects Normal Mode.
1. Load into Safe Mode if possible.
2. Go into Device Manager and disable the graphics drivers.
3. See if Windows will load in normal mode, if it does then the problem lies with the graphics driver. If it doesn't load and still has the same symptoms then attempt the solutions found in this article: Windows Black Screen of Death
4. Find a new driver, either a more recent one or maybe even a previous version. If a new driver doesn't fix the solution then you can keep the generic driver (keep the graphics driver disabled) as an option for the user. Worst come to worst, try re-installing Windows to fix the issue.
