Team Fortress 2 is a free-to-play online video game developed and published by Valve.

TF2 Crashes after November 16, 2012 Patch

The issue seems to be caused by running the game in DirectX 8. To fix this problem, follow these steps:

  1. Open Steam
  2. Navigate to Library
  3. Right-click on Team Fortress 2
  4. Click on properties
  5. Click Set Launch Options
  6. Type in -dxlevel 98

This fix may or may not work.
