Issues

Video is choppy/stutters when viewing subtitles

This is a common issue in MPC and is often accompanied with flashing subtitle text.The MPC media player suffers from poor performance when subtitle animation is enabled (subtitle animation is enabled by default). To fix this, simply disable subtitle animation.

Solution

1. Open Media Player Classic
2. Click on View -> Options
3. Click Subtitles
4. Uncheck Allow animation when buffering
5. Make sure Sub pictures to buffer is at 4
