Far Cry 3 is the third installment in the Far Cry series developed by Ubisoft.

Far Cry 3 has stopped working[edit]
When pressing play game in Uplay, Far Cry 3 opens and a black screen appears followed immediately by a message box saying 'Far Cry 3 has stopped working'. This issue can arise from the computer suddenly losing power, e.g. a computer crash, a power out, etc.
Solution
- Open your Documents folder
- Double click My Games
- Open the Far Cry 3 folder
- Delete GamerProfile.xml
- Run Far Cry 3
